Health and LCHF

Being active right from the start

When I grew up, I dreamed of being a professional Soccer Player. I was very active as a child and teenager playing Soccer, Table Tennis and Floor Ball. I tried lot of other sports and even martial arts.

I went to a local Soccer Gymnasium, having soccer practice on the schedule and starting to lift weights - where a good food plan is crucial to gain more muscles.

Staying active and being healthy has always been a big part of my life and therefore I always strive to be as healthy as possible.

Low Carbs High Fat lifestyle, the ultimate performance help

When a friend of mine first introduced LCHF to me I was a bit skeptical, but today it's been a huge change for me in my performance, since it works very well with my profession where you have to stay focused for a long time and can't plan when there is value in working.

With my new lifestyle, where I eat lots of fat and no sugar or carbohydrates, I have more energy over longer periods of time and I feel full a lot longer than before. I never get tired from eating since I do not have insulin swings. I haven't had an urge for any candy or cookies since I started (this comes from someone who could eat package of cookies once a week). Therefore living a LCHF lifestyle is not only a big part of me but truly is something that I would recommend anyone to try and I am proud to be an ambassador for a LCHF lifestyle.

Understanding the Mind and Body relationship

Being mentally prepared is very important for success in my line of work and therefore I'm working with one of Europe's best sport psychologist: Erik Østenkjær. He is helping me to truly understand who I am and what I can do to optimize my performance when I am working.
